NeoGenesis has 22 products, but a complete routine needs three. This guide gives you the core, the layering order, and how to adjust it for your skin type.

What is the basic NeoGenesis routine?

Quick answer

Cleanse, apply an S2RM serum, moisturize, and finish with mineral sunscreen in the morning. In NeoGenesis terms: Cleanser, then Recovery or Skin Serum, then Barrier Renewal Cream, Intensive Moisturizer or Light Moisturizer. Add targeted products such as Skin Restore Serum or Vibrant C Serum one at a time.

What is the three-product core?

Step 1, cleanse: Cleanser, a pH-balanced gel cleanser. Use Erase The Day first to remove eye and lip makeup.

Step 2, S2RM serum: Recovery (70%) when skin needs the most support, Booster (40%) for dryness and firmness, or Skin Serum (20%) for daily maintenance.

Step 3, moisturize: Barrier Renewal Cream for sensitive skin, Intensive Moisturizer for normal to dry skin, or Light Moisturizer for combination to oily skin.

In the morning, finish with a mineral sunscreen from the mineral sunscreens collection.

How does the routine change by skin type?

Skin type Serum Moisturizer Add
Dry Booster Intensive Moisturizer Moisturizing Mist
Oily, blemish-prone Skin Serum Light Moisturizer Salicylic Acid Gel
Sensitive, reactive Recovery Barrier Renewal Cream MB-1 Probiotic Mist
Mature Recovery Intensive Moisturizer Skin Restore Serum, Eye Serum
Uneven tone Skin Serum Light Moisturizer or Intensive Moisturizer Vibrant C Serum, Mandelic Acid 8%

In what order do you layer NeoGenesis?

Thinnest to thickest. After cleansing: Moisturizing Mist or MB-1 Probiotic Mist if you use one, then Recovery, then a second serum (Booster, Skin Serum, Vibrant C Serum in the morning or Skin Restore Serum at night), then Eye Serum, then moisturizer. MB-2 Probiotic Balm goes last on very dry or disrupted areas because it is an occlusive balm.

Use Salicylic Acid Gel or Mandelic Acid 8% a few times a week at first, not on the same night as a new active. Most people use Enzyme Cream Mask or Fresh Face Peat Mask once or twice a week.

What does a morning and evening routine look like?

Morning

Cleanser, Recovery or Skin Serum, Vibrant C Serum, moisturizer, mineral sunscreen.

Evening

Erase The Day if you wear makeup, Cleanser, Recovery, Skin Restore Serum, Eye Serum, moisturizer.

Starting rules

Introduce one new product at a time and give it two weeks. NeoGenesis formulas are fragrance free and made for all skin types, but any new active is easier to judge alone.

How do you use NeoGenesis around professional treatments?

NeoGenesis positions Recovery, Barrier Renewal Cream, Moisturizing Mist and MB-2 for skin that is stressed during and after professional treatments. The Recovery spray applies without rubbing. Pause acids and vitamin A until your provider says to restart, and follow their guidance first.

What about body, hair, brows and lashes?

For the body, use Skin Serum on the neck and chest and Body Cream with 5% S2RM as the moisturizer. Hair Thickening Serum, NeoBrow and NeoLash use 60% S3RM and are applied twice daily for the first 30 days, then daily.

Where should you buy NeoGenesis?

NeoGenesis sells through licensed skincare professionals and authorized retailers. S2RM formulas are biologically derived and depend on correct storage and handling, so stock from an unauthorized seller may be expired, heat-damaged or tampered with, and carries no brand guarantee.

SkinCrew is an Authorized NeoGenesis US Retailer. Every product is sourced direct from NeoGenesis, shipped from the US and backed by our 45-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, with free US shipping on orders of $99 or more. Shop the range on the NeoGenesis brand page.
