Step 1: Prep

Apply as the final step in your morning skincare routine, after your moisturizer.

Step 2: Apply

Dispense a nickel-sized amount and apply evenly to the face and neck.

Step 3: Blend

Massage in until fully absorbed. (Pro Tip: Warm it between your fingers first for easier blending).

Step 4: Reapply

Reapply after 2 hours if you are in direct sunlight, sweating, or swimming.

Will it leave a white cast?

Because it is a physical sunscreen with Zinc, it may leave a slight cast initially on darker skin tones. However, it is micronized to blend in significantly better than traditional zinc pastes. Warming it in your hands before application helps it vanish.

Is it moisturizing enough on its own?

For very oily skin, Clear Shield can act as your 2-in-1 moisturizer and SPF. For normal or combination skin, we recommend layering it over a lightweight hydrator like HydraClarité.

Does it cause pilling?

No, as long as you let your previous serums dry for a minute before applying. It is silicone-based, so it glides on smoothly and acts like a makeup primer.
