Transparent Zinc Oxide
Every EltaMD sunscreen is built on zinc oxide, a mineral filter that covers both UVA and UVB. EltaMD uses transparent, micronized zinc oxide so formulas rub in sheer. Concentrations run from 9% in UV Clear and UV Daily to 22% in UV Stick.
5% Niacinamide in UV Clear
The UV Clear family adds 5% niacinamide (vitamin B3) to an oil-free base, which helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, visible redness and discoloration while the sunscreen does its job. In UV Clear, UV Clear Tinted, UV Clear Deep Tint and UV Clear Blemish-Prone & Oil Balancing.
